Tour Overview
A Journey into the Heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Step into the ancient forests of southwestern Uganda for an extraordinary encounter with the endangered mountain gorillas. This carefully designed short safari is ideal for travellers who want to experience Uganda’s gorillas while also enjoying the beautiful landscapes and authentic communities of southwestern Uganda. The highlight is a full gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will walk through the rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family and spend precious time observing them in their natural environment. Important: Gorilla trekking is a physically demanding rainforest experience. Trekking conditions can vary considerably. Be prepared for steep terrain, mud and changing weather. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, together with suitable hiking shoes, long trousers, a waterproof jacket and protection from rain and insects.
