A focused four-day journey into Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park, one of the world’s most remarkable places to encounter mountain gorillas in their natural montane rainforest habitat. Begin and end in Kigali with a city experience, then travel north to Kinigi for the highlight of your trip: a full gorilla trekking day in Volcanoes National Park. Gorilla trekking information: gorilla families live in their natural environment and their exact location cannot be guaranteed before the trek. The trek can involve steep, muddy and uneven terrain and may take several hours. A porter is strongly recommended. Final gorilla family allocation is determined by park authorities and cannot be guaranteed.
