Early morning after breakfast, your Safari Savvy guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Kampala or Entebbe and depart for Lake Mburo National Park. This smaller but unique park is the only one in southern Uganda with impalas and plains zebras. The scenic drive takes you through Uganda's countryside, passing through Masaka and the rolling hills of Ankole cattle country. Arrive at your lodge perched on a hilltop with stunning views of the park and lake below. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive through the park, where you may encounter zebras, elands (one of Africa's largest antelopes), impalas, topis, buffaloes, and various bird species.
